Thoughtform Corporation was founded by a team of scientists in 1995. The team found they could isolate various components of a wave, create algorithms which distinguish patterns in these components, and use this information to classify other waves. Dr. Daniel Cook, the company's founder and lead scientist, developed software to perform these tasks. "Thoughtform Interpretation Studio" is the software used by Thoughtform Corporation today.
Dr. Cook has been interested in the effects of medications and external situations on the brain. He and his colleagues discovered the software could analyze the effect of medications on brainwaves. One can determine the onset of drug induced brainwaves and how long the apparent neurological effect lasts. In 1999, Thoughtform Corporation founded a subsidiary called "NeuroInsight, L.L.C." to serve the pharmaceutical industry with this new application of the Interpretation Studio.
Thoughtform continued to research new ways of applying its wave analysis techniques. Its team observed the seismic waves studied by geophysicists have the same appearance as brainwaves. Soon, they began adapting Thoughtform Interpretation Studio to analyze seismic data. "Seismic Insight, Inc." was soon created to serve the oil and gas industry.
In the future, Thoughtform's research will include applying the company's technology to investigate the electrical signals of the human nervous system. Dr. Cook feels the results of this investigation will help Thoughtform unlock new therapies--enlisting the brain's power to heal the body.
